It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Franklin Cole of Marion, Kentucky, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Edward, Sr. and Mildred Louise Wood; his adoptive parents, James Robert Cole and Catherine Delores Cole; his sister Melody Edwards; and his grandson Austin Doom.
He is survived by: his wife Occie Cole of Marion, KY; his sons, Burnie of Marion, KY and Payne Bradford of Marion, KY; his stepdaughters, Erica Mullooney of Florida and Laura Watkins of Marion, KY; his siblings, Jimmy Edwards of Marion, KY, Joseph Cole of Louisville, KY, Liz Travis of Lyon County, KY, Dena Sunderland of Marion, KY and Lisa Cole of Webster County, KY; and his grandchildren, Katie, Curtis, Alex and Gabe. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
