He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Floyd; and his parents, Volentine Floyd and Ethyl Floyd. He is survived by: his children, Brian Floyd (Susan), Rhonda Ellis (Jerry) and Lori Long (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Bobby Floyd, Bradley Floyd (Christy), Brian Floyd (Sarah Lindsey), Jenny Albright (Ricky), Denise Montalta (Jeremy), Angela Burchett (John) and Rebecca Long.
