He was predeceased by: his father Richie Roberts; his stepmother Meddie Roberts; and his siblings, Ricky Ray Roberts, Stevie Roberts, James Richie Roberts and Donna Sue Rushing.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Roberts of Marion, KY; his children, Jimmy Joe Roberts (Chantell) of Morganfield, KY, Derek "Mitch" Roberts of Marion, KY and Angel Travis (Michael) of Suwanee, KY; his grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Ridge, Eli, Walker, Brilee, Haley, Kyle and James; and his siblings, Robert A. "Rocky" Roberts and Bonnie Lou Rushing. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (117 W Bellville St, Marion, KY 42064). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
