He was predeceased by: his wife Annette Paris; his parents, Boyd Paris and Jessie Paris; and his sisters, Jean Hamilton, Sue Paris and Jennifer Eckert.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Paris of Henderson, KY, Timothy Paris of Marion, KY, Traci Paris of New York, NY and Kathy Baker of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Micah, Luke and Aviyah Paris; and his siblings, Curtis, Johnny Nelson and Linda Larkins (Donnell Johnson).
