He is survived by: his wife Kay Grimes of Marion, KY; his son Timothy Grimes (Debbie) of Marion, KY; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Tinsley (Kevin) of Marion, KY and Wesley Shepherd of Elizabethtown, IL; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Emma Tinsley; his stepgrandson Zachariah Robinson of Louisville, KY; and his sister Jessica Wyatt of Marion, KY..

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (117 W Bellville St, Marion, KY 42064). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
