He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" McDaniel and LaVerne McDaniel (Hall); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Vera McDaniel; and his siblings, Ramona (Howard Sharp), Beulah (Don Hagler), Minnie Mae and William Lewis.
He is survived by: his brother Morris McDaniel (Janet) of Carbondale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
