He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Ray; and his parents, James A. Ray and Zema Ray. He is survived by: his wife Edna Ray of Marion, KY; his son Jamie Ray (Mary) of Providence, KY; his grandchildren, Zach Ray of Cadiz, KY and Adleigh Ray of Providence, KY; and his stepdaughter Lisa Beard of Marion, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
