He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden "Doc" and Aline Hodge; his grandson John Denis Jacob "Jake" Hodge; his brother John O. Hodge; his sister-in-law Judy Hodge; and his niece Deborah Yandell Hopewell (Paul Hopewell).
He is survived by: his wife Christene C. Hodge of Marion, KY; his son Denis Hodge (Shannon) of Marion, KY; his granddaughters, Jessi Sigler (Brandon) of Marion, KY and Jordyn Hodge of Marion, KY; his great grandchildren, Jaxson and Jolea Sigler of Marion, KY; his sister Linda Yandell (Tommy) of Marion, KY; his brother-in-law Larry Curnel (Shirley); and his nieces and nephews, Natalie Parish (Philip), Amyee Herndon (Jay), Rhonda Williams, Nathan Curnel (Angie), David Yandell (Vickie) and Dan Hodge (C. J.).
