He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Earl and Nettie Campbell Owen, Sr.; his wife Mary Lou Underdown Owen; his daughter Carolyn Dale Owen; and his siblings, Walton Owen, Sue Hudson, Elsie Marie Owen, Willella Brown and Patsy Conger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gail Bigham of Marion, KY, Rita Travis (J. T.) of Marion, KY and Linda Haney (Dennis) of Ledbetter, KY; his brother Mark Owen of Marion, KY; and his close friends, Jason and Melissa Tinsley of Salem, KY.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
