He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda Clower of Crystal Springs; and his siblings, Elizabeth Carson Reeves and Searle H. Carson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carson of Manitou; his sons, David Carson of Fairfax, VA and George Carson (Meredith) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Emma, Sophia and Lilianna; his stepchildren, Jimmy Parish (Liz) of Manitou, Lana Capps (Kenny) of Madisonville and Anita Farmer (David) of Manitou; and his sister Genie Webb (Charlie) of Gulfport. He is also survived by three nieces; and one nephew.
