It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vada Carol Wagers of Manchester, Kentucky, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver "Joe" Henson and Elizabeth "Omie" Gibson Henson; her sister Jerry Henson (Selena Shepherd); and her brothers-in-law, Herman Henson and Darrell Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Wagers; her sons, Shane Wagers (Brooke Bryant) of Manchester and Wesley Wagers (Danielle Sizemore) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Whittney Brumley (Westley), Donavon Williams (Mariah), Jeremiah Wagers, Conner Wagers and Jayden Wagers; her great grandchildren, Noah Williams of Manchester, Makenzie Williams of Manchester and Jayden Brumley of Manchester; her siblings, Wilma Henson, Elmer Gibson, Sharon Smith, Larry Joe Henson, Don Henson (Robbie Gail) and Melinda Mills (Frank); and her siblings-in-law, Roger Shepherd and Michele Henson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
