He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilbert and Eva Walker Gilbert; his brother Glenn Gilbert; and his grandmother Gracie Gilbert. He is survived by: his former wife Mildred Gilbert; his son Anthony "Pepper" Gilbert (Christi) of Manchester, KY; and his siblings, Jimmy "Poss" Gilbert (Mary) of Louisville, KY and Glenna Pennington (Harrison). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
