He is survived by: his children, Tina Henson, Tonya Marable (James) and Russell Jewell (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Henson, Russell Henson, James Marable, III, Ryan Marable (Ashleigh), Xavier Marable, Shay Arnold (Cody) and Tru Jewell; his great grandchildren, Elvilena Henson, Abigail Henson, Brentley Henson, Addalyn Henson, Elizabeth Henson, Fox Marable, Drew Marable and Marlee Arnold; and his siblings, Herbert Wayne Philpot, Buddy Boy Fullwood, Bob Fullwood and Maxine Henson.
