He is survived by: his wife Ruby Smith Sams; his children, Hansford Sams (Peggy) and Sheila Henson (Raymond) of Manchester; his sister Christine Whicker (Earl) of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Colby Henson (Linsey), Trevor Sams (Ema), Autumn Grace Hubbard (Dominic) and Lauryn Smith.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
