He is survived by: his wife Connie Minton Downey; his siblings, Vanda Downey, Rhonda Hollin, John Downey, Janet Philpot, Betty Sharon Collins, Larry Downey, Norma Lee Downey, Johnny Downey, Lynn Downey and Douglas Wayne Downey; and his half-siblings, James Downey, Angie Downey and Veronica Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, friends.
