He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Mitchell; and his grandparents, Steve, Anna Lee Mitchell, Otto and Georgia Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Alisha Mitchell (Alisha Ealy-Mitchell) and Andrea Leigh Mitchell (Muffin); his grandchild Summitt Parker Mitchell; his sisters, Melinda Mitchell and Sherrie Smallwood; his niece Jessalynn Bowman; his great-nephew Ethan Bowman; and also Jeweldene Mitchell.
