He was predeceased by: his father Wiley; his wife Mary Alice Wison Runion; his sons, Dallas Sherman Runion and Derrick Runion; and his siblings, Sarah Copenhagen, George Runion, Emily Runion, Minnie Copenhagen, Ora Sawyers, Leslie Runion, Sherman Runion, Earl Runion, Drucie McQueen and Joyce Saylor.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Marie Inabnitt (Ernie Lee Inabnitt) of Manchester, Kimberly Ann Mills of Hyden and Michael Dale Runion (Julie Henson Runion) of Manchester; and his brothers, Wiley Jr. Runion and Harold Runion. He is also survived by his special friend, Granny; and several grandchildren, family and friends.
