He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shelby Nicholson, Jr. and Dorothy Deaton Nicholson; his son Tate Hammons; and his brother Aubrey Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Howard Nicholson; his children, Paul Nicholson (Leslie), Kristy Fields (Anthony Combs) and Michelle Garland; his grandchildren, Jack Thomas Nicholson, Isabelle Kate Nicholson, Cameron Daniel Johnson, Kelsie Lynn Johnson, Robert Paul Bozeman, Rachel Bryanna Hammons and Jacob Andrew Hammons; his great grandchildren, Kade Daniel Johnson, Jace Issacs and Lily Isaacs; his siblings, Dillard Nicholson, Jan Nicholson, Les Nicholson and Vanda Rice; and his pet Snowball.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home (402 Richmond Rd, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
