He is survived by: his wife Mary Stewart Byrd; his children, Larry Byrd (Melissa), Tim Byrd and CJ Byrd; his grandchildren, Ashley Davidson (Steven), Andrew Byrd (Kristina), Travis Byrd (Tori), Bessie Sizemore (Ozzy), Jacob Byrd (Kinsey Smith), Haylee Byrd (Jacob Smith), Conley Jay Byrd and Whitney Byrd; and his sister Delores Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
