He was predeceased by: his father Owen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hensley; his sons, Matthew Hensley (Katelyn) of Spring and Michael Hensley of Manchester; his mother Fannie Mae Hensley; his sister Carolyn Hensley of Manchester; and his grandchildren, Emily and Wyatt Hensley.

In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition.
