He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon M. Smith and Goldie Mills Smith; his wife Bessie Ann Depew Smith; and his siblings, Tilmon Smith and Blonda Sue Burns.
He is survived by: his son Jeffery Smith; and his siblings, Raymond Smith (Kathy) of London, David Smith (Marcella) of Manchester and Judy Walker of London.
