She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Abner and Rachel Stutivant Abner; her husband Frank Smith; her son Dwayne Smith; her sisters, Thelma Wombles and Virgie Smith; and her grandsons, James Allen Smith and Matthew Swafford.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Swafford, James Smith, Donald Ray Smith and Kenneth Ray Smith; and her sisters, Juanita Wombles and Patricia Smith. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.
