She is survived by: her parent Reubin Sams; her children, Jeweldine Hubbard of Manchester, Brenda Hooker of Manchester, Lois Austin (Paul) of Manchester, Carlo Goins, Jr. of Manchester and Timothy Goins (Samantha) of London; her son-in-law D. C. Edwards; and her siblings, Christina Whitaker (Earl) and Reubin Sams (Ruby). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
