She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Herd and Owen Herd; her husband Leonard Bowling; her daughter Pauline Sester; her son-in-law Ricky Sizemore; and her siblings, Walker Herd, Lucille Gilbert, Irene Spurlock and Mary Baker.
She is survived by: her children, James Bowling of Jackson County, Della Roberts (Larry) of Manchester, Doris Sizemore of Big Creek, Iva Moore (Eugene) of Cincinnati, OH and Joyce Ferguson (Ben) of Manchester; her son-in-law Kenneth Sester of Manchester; and her brother Alfred Herd of Indiana. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
