She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Phillips and Dorothy Lamb Phillips; her husband Alfred Gibson; and her siblings, Mary Gregory, Joseph Phillips, Eddie Phillips, Debra Wright and Charlotte Phillips.

She is survived by: her daughter Dorothy Renee Phillips of Big Creek; her sisters, Patricia Gregory (Hugh) of London and Joyce Mills of Manchester; and her grandchildren, Savannah Henson and Alexis Scott.
