He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Eversole Marcum; his children, Sam Marcum (Cheryl) of North Carolina, Jim Welch of Vermont, Jason Welch (Alesia) of London, KY, Sonya Maxie (Rick) of Manchester, KY and Jessica Davidson (Nolan) of Knoxville, TN.; his sisters, Wanda Marcum of Manchester and Brenda Smith (John) of Dothan, AL; his grandson Josh Maxie (Leigha); his great grandchildren, Skylar, Haizlee and Caroline; his granddaughter Chelsea Smith (Terry); his great grandchildren, Bella and Canaan; his grandson Brian Maxie; his great grandchild Levi; his grandchild Whitney Marcum (Coty); his great grandchildren, Emma, Adalyn and Cloey; his grandchildren, Christy Marcum, Sarah Marcum, Jacob Marcum, Peyton Davidson, Olivia Davidson, Annabelle Welch, Caroline Welch and Manning Welch; and his niece Robin Leslie Craft. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family requests that all visitors wear masks and practice social distancing. Funeral Services for Les will be private.
