She was predeceased by: her parents, Miller Smith and Polly Sizemore Smith; her husband Carlos Collins; and her brothers, Raleigh and Critt Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Scott (Kim Collins), Dexter (Bobbie Collins), Patty (James Asher), Karen (Willie Lawson), Sharon (Oakley Hatfield), Cassie (Mark Roberts) and Charlene (Doug Jackson); and her stepsister Rose Wagers of London, Kentucky.. She is also survived by nieces and a nephew, and a grand daughter.
