He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvie Wagers (Smallwood) and Armon Wagers; his wife Patsy Wagers; and his siblings, Brenda Arnett, Russell Wagers, Roy Smallwood and Glenn Wagers.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Jones (Daniel), Roy Wayne Wagers of Manchester and Larry Joe Wagers (Trixy) of Manchester; his former wife Vickie Wagers; and his siblings, Wanda Bowling (Delbert) of London, Kathy Woods of London, Janet Combs (Terry) of Edmonton, KY, Lonnie Wagers (Veda) of Manchester, Chester Wagers (Joetta) of Manchester and Charles Grubb (Eva) of London. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
