She was predeceased by: her parents, Gillis Bowling and Anna Lee Bowling; and her brothers, Don Gabbard, Hubert Carl Bowling, Kenneth Wayne Bowling, Charles David (Sheila Bowling) and Dennis Bowling.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny; her children, Valarie (Barry Bishop) of Manchester and Jason (Mitzi Nolan) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Catherine Reed), TeRae (Andrew Baker), Brittany Nolan, Bradley Bishop, Makiah Roberts, Makenlie Roberts, Shawn Bishop, Kailee (Andrew Wooton), Megan (Nicholas Collins), Jalon Nolan and Tatum Nolan; her great grandchildren, Kyree Swafford, Nolan Reed, Brooks Baker and Isla Wooton; her sisters, June Byers, Joy Thompson, Jacqueline Jackson and Janet Jones; her friend Sallie Dezarn; and her cousin Ruby Hensley.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family urges donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition to help serve others in the area.
