He is survived by: his wife Joan Mathis (Brewer); his sons, Mike Elam (Lilly) and Chris Cook (Amanda); his grandchildren, Jordan, Luke, Austin Elam, Kristopher, Savannah, Autumn, Summer Cook, Taylor and Austin Bustle; his great grandchild Audrey Elam; his sisters, Dorothy Kemmeter, Debbie Malicote and Lillie Mathis; and his nieces, Brenda, Dianna and Pam.
