He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Shell Smith; his parents, Buster Smith and Louise Owens Smith; and his siblings, Birdie and Chester.
He is survived by: his son Paul (Karen) of Manchester; his grandsons, Andrew (Ashley) and John (Kam); and his sister Becky Goins (Smiley). He is also survived by nephews, family and friends.
