We bid farewell to Jean Baker of Manchester, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 30, 2024 at the age of 94. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Baker and Mattie Smith Baker. She is survived by: her children, Barry Lewis (Missy) of London and Valerie Meyer (Tim) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Ben Meyer of Louisville, Isabelle Meyer of Louisville, Lawrence Lewis of Louisville and Mattie Lewis of Lexington; her caregivers, Loretta Hicks, Elizabeth Smallwood and Woody Montoya; and also, Neville Smith of Manchester and Phyllis Robinson of Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Historical Society, Bluegrass Center for Autism, or Ronald McDonald House of Lexington.
