He is survived by: his parent Shelby Byrd; and his siblings, Josephine Baker of Manchester, Geneva Harris, Frances Mae Neeley, Anna Lee Hensley, Stanley Byrd, Jesse Byrd, Ray Byrd, Mary Jean Scheafer and Ralph G. Byrd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
