She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Verna Gilbert (Chandler); her husband Tinsley Begley; her daughter Gina Begley; and her siblings, Pauline Smith, Haywood Gilbert, Rufus Gilbert, Violet Carver and Phyllis Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Prewitt and Oscar Begley; her grandchild Chastity Bradshaw; her children, McKayla Bradshaw White, Jordan Bradshaw and Jacob Hicks; her great grandchildren, Mallory Rae Bradshaw, Sophia Grace Bradshaw and Rollin Samuel Bradshaw; and her siblings, Ann Murrary and Paul Gilbert.
