She was predeceased by: her husband Irvin Stevens; and her parents, Marvin Sams and Agnes Sibert Sams. She is survived by: her daughters, Kendra Bridges (Brad) and April Whitaker (Bryan); her siblings, Donnie Sams (Margaret) and Larry Sams; and her grandchildren, Jaycob Whitaker and Cooper Martin.
