He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Sandlin and Gertrude Couch Sandlin; and his son Edward Sandlin. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hensley Sandlin; and his daughter Ruth Roark (Doug) of Sacker Road. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
