He was predeceased by: his parent Linda Gibbs (Taylor); his wife Mary Helen Gibbs (Turner); his daughters, Debra Lynn Fisher and Denise Ann Rook; and his siblings, Bill Gibbs, Willard Gibbs and Mary Gibbs.
He is survived by: his parent Nathan Gibbs; his children, Sandra Guthrie of Mason, OH, Timothy Scott Gibbs of Barbourville, KY and Jeffrey Wade Gibbs (Esther) of London, KY.; and his siblings, Louise Pruitt of Corbin, KY and Enoch Gibbs (Sandra) of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
