She was predeceased by: her parents, Bleve Metcalf and Geneva Metcalf (Abney); her siblings, Arthur Pearl, Darrell Metcalf, Velma Lee Metcalf, Irene Ray, Elois Wagoner, Pauline Hensley, Laura Evelyn Johnson and Joyce Russell; and her daughter-in-law Roseena Melton.

She is survived by: her husband Aaron Melton; her sons, Dannie Melton (Ernestine) and Carl Melton; her granddaughters, Kristy Lee Hampton (Stephen) and Heather Ann Melton; and her great grandchild Isla Rose Hampton.
