He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed "Rabbit" and Minnie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol Smith; his children, Jeremy Smith, Jessica Smith and Chase Mize; his grandchildren, Olivia, Jacob, McKayla and Allayna; his stepchildren, Angel Helton, Shannah Mize, Cory Mize and Cody Feltner; and his siblings, Clyde Smith, Beve Smith (Sally, Betty Ely), Walker Smith (Marietta, Carolyn Dezarn), Russell "Rabbit" Smith and Joan Diedrick (John). He is also survived by 10 step grandchildren.
