Dora Hacker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Hacker (Manchester, Kentucky), who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend Leonard Hacker; her parents, Tester Bowling and Clara Bowling; her siblings, Bob Bowling, Jack Bowling, Oscar Bowling, Georgia Lipps, Kathleen Herron and Edith "Peanut" Phillips; her children, Jerry Hacker and Rebecca Sumner; and her grandchildren, Michael Lane Hacker and Jennifer Hacker Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Faye Hacker), Sandra (Albert Lawson), Connie Lester and Deborah (Jimmy Dobson); her children-in-law, Kathy Hacker and Danny "Boone" Sumner; and her sister-in-law Virginia Bowling. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Landmark of Laurel Creek Rehabilitation Center, per Susan Bush, in honor of Dora Hacker.
