He is survived by: his mother Doshia Hoskins Short; his children, Darren Short, Tyler Short, Jayla Short, Kaiden Short and Colton McQueen (Short); his grandchildren, Paisley Short, Waylon Short and Cohen Short; and his siblings, Richard Short, Travis Short, John Short and Stephanie Peak.
