He is survived by: his wife Mary Sandlin (Brumley); his children, Donald Sandlin of Falmouth, KY, Lisa Sandlin of Falmouth, KY and Patricia Sandlin of Manchester; and his brother Delmar Sandlin of Falmouth, KY.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
