He is survived by: his wife Thelma Byrd Johnson; his children, Tonya Johnson of Manchester, KY., Tracy Johnson of Manchester, KY. and Timothy Johnson of Manchester, KY.; his siblings, Julia Allen of Manchester, KY, Preston Johnson (Bertha) of Northern, KY. and Abraham Johnson (Darlene) of Northern, KY.; and his grandsons, James Daniel Lowe of Knox County and Harvey Isreal Lowe III of Knox County.
