He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Jones and Mabel Fletcher Jones; his siblings, Billy Jones, Quinton Jones and Lynda Roberts; and his close friend J. D. Bowling.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Sams Jones; his children, Lisa Thompson (Freddy), Christopher Jones and Marthanna Dobson (Jonathan); his sister Janis Bowling; his grandchildren, Chad Thompson (Page), Megan Jackson (Ben), Xander and Piper; and his great grandchildren, Braiden, Holden, Livi Grace, Desi and Landry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Harts Branch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
