He was predeceased by: his parents, Estill Gray and Verdlain Gray (Smallwood); and his brothers, Charles Raven Gray and Willie Ray Gray. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gray (Corum); his children, Brent Gray (Ashley) of London, Misty Creech (Raymond) of London, Stephanie Hoskins (Darrell Wayne) of Manchester and Kayla Jackson (Brian Manchester); his brother Donnie Gray (Beverly) of Manchester; and his grandchildren, Alivia, Laura Beth Hoskins, Karlee Gray, Bryce Hobbs, Keaton Creech, Brennan, Noah, Isaiah and Khloe Jackson.
