It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Jackson of Manchester, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Maggard and Martha Asher Maggard of Hyden, KY.; her husband Woodrow Jackson; her daughter Theda Johnson; and her siblings, Wallace Maggard, John Maggard, Arbert Maggard and Margaret Ellen Maggard.
She is survived by: her children, Lenora Sizemore (Martin), Margaret Jackson, Martha Ann Smith (Ronnie), Woody Jackson (Yvette) and Wally Jackson (Faye); her grandchildren, John Daniel Lewis, Jennifer Schwenke, Angela George, Nikki Sizemore, Paige Sizemore Grigsby, Brandi Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Tonya Smith and Ashley Jackson; and her nephew Douglas Pennington. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
