He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Grubb and Minda Grubb (Smallwood); and his siblings, Baxter Grubb, Bidge Grubb, Tole Grubb, Lawrence Grubb, Maggie Messer, Marie Mills, Sudie Parsons and Ruth Holcolmb.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley R. Grubb; his children, Shannon Monroe (Sid), Jeffery D. Grubb (Melissa) of Lexington, KY and Melissa Gilliam (Shawn) of Georgetown, KY.; his grandchildren, Cameron Grubb, Regan Gilliam, Raven Gilliam and Joey Monroe; and his sister Edith Yeagar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
