Pauline Prater Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pauline Prater of Majestic, Kentucky, who passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pauline Prater to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Bennett and Bertha "Hackney" Bennett; her husband Worley Prater; her children, Jackie, Michael, Timmy, Worley Jr., Debbie Prater and Christina "Tina" Prater; and her siblings, Millard, Everett Jr. Bennett, Reba Dotson, Wilma Mason and Thelma "Sissy" Reese.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Prater (Wanda Janey) of Majestic, KY, Ricky Prater of Delbarton, WV, Lesa Prater of Majestic, KY, Corina Varney (Keith) of Tennessee, Crystal Holden (Donald) of Las Vegas, NV, Angel Lester (Troy) of Hardy, KY and Karla Prater of Majestic, KY; and her sisters, Betty Lou Daugherty (Lonnie Jr.) and Margie Morrow (Ronnie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Church of God. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
