She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Chapman and Mae "Thorpe" Chapman; her son Patrick Chapman; and her siblings, Woodrow Chapman Jr. and Linda Sue Dotson.

She is survived by: her sisters, Verna Chapman of Majestic, KY, Brenda Rowland of Ohio, Lola Conn (Jeff) of Ohio, Evelyn Joyce Bentley of Freeburn, KY and Lisa Ann Norman of Athens, Ohio; and her granddaughter Breanna Storm Chapman of Matewan, W. V.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
