He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Powell Durham; his children, Lisa Durham and John Mark Durham; his parents, Forrest Durham and Mattie Patterson Durham; and his brothers, J. P. "Bull" Durham, Bobby Durham and Charles Durham.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Villanueva (Glenn) of Rineyville, Karen Elliott (Larry) of Buffalo and Bryan Durham (Machelle) of Buffalo; and his grandchildren, Sara Gibbons, Amy Nunn, Lauren Quick, Betsy Durham, Emily Cunningham, Denver Elliott and Jeremy Bennett. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
